Edge quality gauranteed with no burrs, rolled edges, nicks, or rough edges; edge protection is provided. Bottom Slitters All sizes, all types including split bands and multigroove, and all materials, carbides finished to Ra of 3 or less microns. Flatness gauranteed to .002 inches or less. Edge quality includes no burrs, roll overs, nicks, or roughness; edge protection on all except multigrooves. Knives Up to 160 inches with Superfinishing and edge quality gaurantee. Single bevel, double bevels, single edge, double edge, and edge protection.

Winder Inspections: Inspect for blade and paper geometry including cant angle, trim removal criteria, band penetration, paper support, overspeed, side load, wear on parts, runout, blade & hub condition, air leaks, and pressure, blade contact, squareness, plumbness, and general operations.

Equipment Repair Replace and recondition worn out parts and return to original specification with new and reconditioned parts.

Training Personal training in the basics of slitting and the correct procedures for optimum equipment operation. Discuss the effects of side load, cant angle, penetration, overspeed, blade condition, equipment condition, and paper qualities.
